- Surgical repair of aortic aneurysms, including thoracic aortic endografts – a minimally invasive procedure during which surgeons insert a tube into the aorta to provide support for a weakened section
Cardiac Intensive Care
Englewood Hospital has a dedicated cardiovascular intensive care unit where patients are admitted after surgery. Care is provided by specialized physicians, called intensivists, and critical care nurses, who work closely with our cardiothoracic surgeons to manage patients post-operatively. Our cardiothoracic surgeons are available around-the-clock to oversee the post-operative care of our heart surgery patients in the intensive care unit and throughout their hospital stay.
