Wounds that do not heal in 4-6 weeks, whether caused by an injury or an illness, require specialized treatment. Michael G. Cioroiu, MD is medical director of the Wound Healing Center at Englewood Hospital. Dr. Cioroiu sees patients with chronic non-healing wounds and has a particular interest in difficult-to-heal wounds. He specializes in the evaluation and management of patients with diabetic, arterial, venous, and pressure-injury wounds. Dr. Cioroiu also speaks Hungarian, Romanian and Spanish.
