About Dipal Patel
Dr. Patel is board certified in internal medicine and in nephrology. Her main interests are the training of medical residents, clinical education, curriculum development, quality improvement, and health disparities. Dr. Patel received her MD from St. George’s University School of Medicine, in Grenada, West Indies. She did an internal medicine residency at St. Luke’s–Roosevelt Hospital (now Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West), in Manhattan, and a nephrology and hypertension fellowship at UMDNJ–University Hospital, in Newark. She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Nephrology and a member of the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine. In addition to English, Dr. Patel is fluent in Gujarati.
