About Sandra Carlson
Dr. Carlson is board certified in internal medicine. Her main clinical interests are adult health, men’s health, geriatric medicine, chronic condition management, health screenings, heart disease, prevention, weight management, and wellness. Dr. Carlson received her MD from State University of Maringá, in Maringá, Paraná, Brazil. She did a cardiology residency at Hospital de Base de Bauru, in São Paulo, Brazil, and an internal medicine residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center (now RWJBarnabas Health–Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center), in Livingston, NJ. In addition to English, Dr. Carlson is fluent in Portuguese and conversational in Spanish.
